Mabel Morris Family Home Visit Program

The Mabel Morris Family Home Visit Program is a free, voluntary program for low-income parents in Philadelphia, who are raising children under five years of age. Through partnering with families, specialty trained registered nurses provide the information, support and encouragement parents need to help their children develop optimally during the crucial early years of life.

The goals of the Mabel Morris Family Home Visit Program include:

  • Increase parent knowledge of early childhood development and improve parenting practices
  • Provide early detection of developmental delays and health issues
  • Prevent child abuse and neglect
  • Increase children’s school readiness and school success
