The Brunch & Learn will address the scope of food insecurity in Philadelphia. Speakers will discuss its impact on the health and well-being of low-resourced families and the tangible ways in which our community can work together to improve food security for families, including advocating for systemic changes. Continuing Education credits will be available for nurses.

- Healthy food choices as disease prevention and how SNAP-Ed can help: using evidence-based nutrition, shopping, and food prep education to help clients use SNAP benefits effectively
- Advocacy and Promoting systemic change: Panel discussion on the interconnectedness to other poverty-related issues, current advocacy efforts, and strategies to further influence local policy maker decisions
